CereCore is seeking an Web Content Accessibility Specialist to join our team in Nashville, TN.
Supports the overall quality control of web content and compliance to ensure a high quality and consistent user experience. This includes routine content publishing and support.
Conduct quality assurance audits and evaluations to ensure websites are accurate and follow company guidelines.
Conduct detailed quality assurance tests on new site builds, migrations, and project implementations.
Perform remediation of content issues – such as incorrect text and image formatting, broken links, and misapplied tags – in the content management system.
Perform remediation of accessibility issues – such as incorrect heading structure, missing alt tags, and color use – in the content management system.
Perform routine content publishing updates and activities as needed.
Audit content publishing activities for accuracy and adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
Develop maintainable automated test framework.
Report defects and issues.
Communicate testing statuses, including reporting of overall test results.
Reproduce and document bugs to escalate to the development team.
Collaborate with production and publishing team members.
3+ years of experience with web and mobile applications.
Knowledge and experience with automated quality assurance tools and processes.
Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and guidelines a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently lead projects to completion.
