CereCore is seeking an Web Content Accessibility Specialist to join our team in Nashville, TN. 

Responsibilities:
  • Supports the overall quality control of web content and compliance to ensure a high quality and consistent user experience. This includes routine content publishing and support.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and evaluations to ensure websites are accurate and follow company guidelines.
  • Conduct detailed quality assurance tests on new site builds, migrations, and project implementations.
  • Perform remediation of content issues – such as incorrect text and image formatting, broken links, and misapplied tags – in the content management system.
  • Perform remediation of accessibility issues – such as incorrect heading structure, missing alt tags, and color use – in the content management system.
  • Perform routine content publishing updates and activities as needed.
  • Audit content publishing activities for accuracy and adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Develop maintainable automated test framework.
  • Report defects and issues.
  • Communicate testing statuses, including reporting of overall test results.
  • Reproduce and document bugs to escalate to the development team.
  • Collaborate with production and publishing team members.

Position Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with web and mobile applications.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Xml, and web content management systems).
  • Knowledge and experience with automated quality assurance tools and processes.
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and guidelines a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently lead projects to completion.
