CereCore is seeking an Application System Analyst to join our team in Franklin, TN.

Responsibilities:  ​
  • Ability to troubleshoot, document, and resolve customer-reported application system issues. Primarily within the Med Host System. Timeliness and accuracy are key factors.
  • Maintain working knowledge of MedHost functionality changes/upgrades to better support and train customers.
  • Assist with testing and feedback of new MedHost releases to support Acadia Change Control Policies.
  • Communicate/escalate critical issues appropriately.
  • Independently shift and prioritize workload/projects effectively.
  • Assist facilities with the implementation of other software applications as needed such as insurance eligibility, electronic billing, electronic remittance posting, 3M Encoder, electronic agency placements, patient statement processing, etc.
  • Assist with various tasks related to acquisition activity as assigned such as: building MedHost libraries, calling the application setup programs, working with facility staff to build the various revenue-cycle application master files, providing MedHost revenue-cycle application training, and working with facility staff and contracted programmer to convert historical data into the MedHost System.
  • Provide hands-on MedHost training for Admissions/Intake, Nursing, Business Office, Utilization Review, Medical Records, and Other departments as needed (AP/GL, etc.)
Position Requirements:
  • Two years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Project management experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the revenue cycle and hospital business office procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge in MedHost Revenue Cycle/Financial Applications.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment.
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
  • English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
