CereCore is seeking an IT Director to join our team in Franklin, TN.

Responsibilities:  ​
  • Directs the Application Systems team in the deployment and support process of the Application for all Acadia facilities.
  • Researches costs for development, implementation, upgrades, and maintenance of systems as needed.
  • Directs the Applications Staff in providing ongoing support for the system users and defines acceptable metrics for meeting the user's Service Levels.
  • Develops detailed documentation of processes in a checklist format for all Application Deployment Tasks by preparing various documentation including project reports, process and user manuals, presentations, strategic and technical plans, and other related information on assigned application analysis.
  • Collaborates with Acadia Operations, and Acadia Internal Audit to define and maintain Standard Files in the Application to ensure consistent reporting. 
  • Ensures our process and controls for the system and user security meet the defined requirements of company policy, Sarbanes Oxley, and any privacy regulations instituted for the Application.
  • Manages system update process reviewing, testing, and documenting all updates/releases and approving them to be submitted to Change Control for Review.
  • Meets with vendor(s) to address support/software issues, the status of user enhancement requests submitted, and upcoming releases.  Escalates issues as appropriate to Operations Team and CIO.
  • Provide leadership and direction to all staff in accordance with IT Department leadership.
  • Ensure all departmental objectives are met.
  • Drives the creation of department goals, standard operating procedures, and new processes.
  • Review all current processes and procedures, and Develops and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the department is in alignment with the IT mission statement.
  • Work with project management to ensure the projects meet the established scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Oversee staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, and performance management.
  • Establish key performance indicators and service level agreements for continually improving the performance of the team.
  • Ensure customer focus and satisfaction among the internal team. Acts as a customer advocate, frequently communicating with customers and managing customer expectations.
  • Engage and consult with senior leaders to align with strategic business goals and technical initiatives.
  • Establish credibility and maintain strong working relationships with technical and non-technical teams involved with information technology matters including Legal, Operations, Risk, Internal Audit, etc.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external teams/customers.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of job-related Application System experience; preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong Applications and technical background that encompasses both the user and support experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience specifically on an EMR implementation team.
  • Experience managing multi-facility, enterprise EMR platform.
  • Experience managing application development/change management
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and logically; to communicate issues effectively.
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Knowledge of business development, strategic planning, tactical implementation, and creation of business partnerships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to the next level.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames.  Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Capable of working within established policies, procedures, and practices prescribed by the organization.
  • English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
  • Experience and understanding of behavioral healthcare clinical processes and regulations a plus
  • Experience communicating with C-suite level executives is a plus
  • Experience building and managing project governance a plus
