QA Test Engineer (MEDITECH)

CereCore is seeking a QA Test Engineer (MEDITECH experience) to join our team. This individual will work remote at one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.
Responsibilities:  ​
  • Support the program to deliver the in-Scope interfaces, both remotely and on-site leading up to and during commissioning
  • MEDITECH Magic experience highly preferred to decrease training time
  • Building test plans
  • Complete relevant program governance artefacts, such as RAIDD logs, status reports and project plans
  • Design, prepare and facilitate stakeholder workshops
  • Work in parallel with the UHB Test Lead to plan, execute and jointly report progress
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with stakeholders across the HCA and Trust business stakeholders and IT
  • Provide leadership for testing in the development and execution of the program Test Approach and creation of the Test Strategy
  • Support the development of test plans and assist in defining and agreeing the test scope for the required systems and services
  • Guide the teams involved in the testing in order to assure appropriate governance and controls are employed in achieving the required levels of risk mitigation
  • Progress reporting against plan in the agreed reporting formats
  • Ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with external and internal customers
  • Ensure that systems are tested to agreed standards for functional, non-functional service quality and systems operational requirements
  • Ownership and management of the program defect management process, across multi-discipline, internal and external teams, for defect remediation through to closure
  • Liaise with the Release & Environments Manager on deployments and environment refreshes
  • Support the program Director & Workstream leads with the creation of project artefacts and ensure testing needs are considered
  • Provide deployment and post go-live support as require
Position Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience of Test Management across the full lifecycle involving internally developed and vendor managed solutions
  • Proven testing experience of end-to-end solutions and integration testing
  • Experience working within the Medical/Healthcare industry
  • Experience of Managing Technical Test Teams and Operational Acceptance Testing
  • Previous experience using Azure DevOps is desirable
  • Experience of working in a customer facing role within a Test Management Consultancy would be advantageous
