CereCore is seeking a Director of Information Systems to join our team in Harrisonville, MO.    
 
Responsibilities:  ​ 
IT Operations Management, Planning, and Strategic Alignment. (40% of time)                                          
  • Manages the assignment of resources and provide senior technical support to subordinates as they complete IT projects, operations, and support requests.          
  • Develops facility IT capital and operating budgets.                         
  • Directs and manages resources to resolve IT issues for the enterprise.                                                         
  • Develops and manages information security for the enterprise.                                            
  • Develops, plans and directs the enterprise technical environment.
  • Ensures IT plan aligns with facility strategic goals.                                                       
Relationship Management & Communication. (15% of time)                                                
  • Builds positive relationships with Managers, Physicians, Employees, and Leadership.             
  • Facilitates multi-way communication with key constituents (Managers, Employees, Leadership and Vendors) on IT matters.                                                   
  • Communicates successes, challenges, opportunities, and trends regarding the facility and IT environment to Leadership.                                           
  • Promote sharing of demonstrated best practices throughout organization.                                 
  • Shares information to direct reports through face to face meetings and other communication.  
Project Implementation Management. (10% of time)                                               
  • Plans and manages implementation of all IT projects.                                                
  • Coordinates and supports IT aspects of facility projects.                                            
  • Ensures proper installation, cabling, and components prior to any use of equipment.                
  • Analyzes new and existing equipment for any HIPAA security concerns, upon initiation and no less than annually.                                        
Process Engineering. (20% of time)                                                   
  • Understands implications of technology solutions to Facility workflow and operations and communicates to key stakeholders.                             
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities & challenges and communicates them to appropriate Managers/Leadership for planning and action.                                                   
Staff Development. (15% of time)                        
  • Recruit, manage, lead, develop and retain IT staff in Facility in alignment with Facility Values.  
  • Ensures accountability of IT staff.

Position Requirements: 
  • 5+ years of experience planning, directing and managing effective operation of information technology in the enterprise (Hospital and Clinics) and ensure strategic and operational alignment with the organizations quality, growth, and business objectives
  • Experience in making recommendations regarding policies associated with the job's purpose and essential responsibilities.      
  • Background in determining resolution for more complex information technology issues, including decisions to purpose new or replacement equipment necessary to maintain effective operations.  Direct and manage the schedule of subordinates to deliver information systems continuity.
  • Formal Supervisory Responsibilities - responsible for 12 FTEs (Network Administrator, Information Systems Specialist, Clinical Analyst Lead, 4 Clinical Analysts, 2 Clinical Support Technicians, 2 Technology Support Technicians, Project Manager).
  • Ability to capture business objectives and create project plans that utilize existing resources to successfully implement information technology.  Serve as a senior technical consultant with Information Services, providing performance improvement analysis; training to Information Services staff and managing the departmental budget.
  • Required Knowledge: Knowledge of information technology including, but not limited to: Microsoft Windows environment (Active Directory, Exchange, Office 2013, Data Protection Manager, SharePoint, System Center Configuration Manager); ShoreTel; Cisco Routing/Switches; Networking; Citrix. Knowledge of health information technology including, but not limited to: Meditech E.H.R, Intergy E.H.R; IntelePACS; EndoPro; Dragon Medical by Nuance; Nuance PowerShare; Meaningful Use; and HL7 Interfacing.
