Summary:


The Software Developer will serve as the Automation Resources team's manager. This Manager will complete assigned project tasks and assignments with high degree of accuracy and timeliness. When required by project participates in project planning, and creation of assessment, build, testing, go-live and other necessary implementation plans. Follow defined project management processes, including: tracking, issue & risk management, plan management, conversion management, communications, equipment evaluation and status reporting. Provides feedback from hospitals, divisions, other corporate departments, and vendors to management. Uses professional knowledge and experience to advise the client on optimal workflows and system functions. Openly shares this knowledge with peers.

Responsibilities:

Administrative/Staff Development (10%)
  • Personal development
  • Quarterly Performance Review
  • Protect and Grow Clients by providing guidance and feedback
  • Participate in Staff Meetings and 1:1 meetings
  • Submit and comply with policies regarding timekeeping and expenses recording
  • Understands and adheres to company and client policy and procedures
  • Updates project and company documentation with most current information
  • Acts as a mentor and participates in training of new staff
Delivery (90%)
  • Executes tasks/assignments as required for project and meets deadlines
  • Facilitates system design sessions and adheres to change management procedures
  • Assists client in understanding required project timelines and impact of not staying on track
  • Effectively works with multi- disciplinary teams and assists with finding issue/risk resolutions
  • Completes and documents workflow and gap analysis
  • Completes system data entry within defined accuracy parameters
  • Uses knowledge and experience to provide guidance for system integrations. Also assists in the discovery and documentation necessary when system custom is identified to be necessary.
  • Prioritizes own tasks and assists peers with theirs
  • Understands project deliverables and level of effort to complete
  • Identifies risks and issues and follows escalation process,
  • Designs, collaborates and executes testing, site training and knowledge transfer
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to provide good customer service skills
  • Ability to work with a team and/or independently
  • Ability to lead and monitor team activities
  • Has critical thinking skills necessary to prioritize tasks and advise clients on making optimal decisions
  • Experience with day-to-day relationships in clinical settings
  • Knowledge of preferred Clinical/Financial system platforms, MEDITECH (All Platforms), EPIC, McKesson, Cerner, etc.
  • Knowledge preferred in at least one HCIS technical discipline and Proficient in at least three other disciplines
  • Intermediate to Expert ability to work in Office suite products
Requirements:
  • Preferred but not required, College Graduate or equivalent experience
  • 5-6 years’ experience
  • Certifications with technical systems/applications
  • Proven experience in .NET Programming, Python and SQL
  • Experience with installation of clinical systems
  • Working knowledge of Health Information Systems preferred
  • Customer Service orientation and/or training required
  • Experience in defining project requirements and resource needs
  • Experience in leading project team or teams
  • Some limited travel may be required
