The role:

We are looking for an experienced Candidate Experience Specialist to join our team remotely in the UK (with some travel to our London office). This role will be crucial to ensuring the smooth running of all onboarding for new employees. You will be responsible for generating new ideas and initiatives for the continuous improvement of the current onboarding process. You will report directly into the Director of Staffing and Recruitment.


Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and ensure all pre-employment checks are obtained in a timely and compliant manor this includes Referencing, DBS checks, right to work information and any other requirements stipulated by CereCore
  • Create, manage and maintain a world class candidate experience journey whilst ensuring it aligns with updated compliance regulations
  • Plan, organise and manage the corporate induction booking process
  • Maintain all HR and onboarding systems with relevant details whilst ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Manage all stakeholders including hiring managers, external suppliers and the wider Talent Acquisition teams to provide a smooth and professional employee experience from offer acceptance to employee handoff
  • Keep in regular contact with candidates during the onboarding process from offer request to candidate handover
  • Continuously update our HR Policies and Compliance policy knowledge
  • Pro-actively seek to mitigate any potential delays in processing candidates, build solutions and keep all stakeholders updated with timelines
  • Deliver on projects as allocated e.g. Process improvement, Pre-employment checks and candidate handbook

Position Requirements

Essential Experience:
  • 3+ years’ experience working within a similar employee centric position within a growing organisation
  • Experience working within a compliance environment with a demonstrable interest in keeping HR policies and compliance knowledge updated
  • Working knowledge of best practises within Onboarding, recruitment and HR practises
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Desirable Experience:
  • Previous experience within the Healthcare industry
  • Effective IT and HR Systems knowledge
