CereCore is seeking a Clinical Informatics Regulatory Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN. This individual will work at one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare

Summary:

HCA Healthcare’s Clinical Services Group (CSG) is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s Clinical Informatics strategy. CSG’s Health IT Policy & Strategy team is responsible for managing the organization’s exposure to changes in public policy as they relate to the company’s Clinical Informatics strategy, as well as health IT more broadly. The mission of the Health IT Policy & Strategy team is to serve the company’s healthcare providers and health IT developers by reducing the burden and cost of compliance. We seek to accomplish this mission by advocating for balanced health IT policy, developing and implementing operationally efficient compliance strategies, and leveraging existing company investments whenever possible. This Analyst will assist the team in staying abreast of legislative and regulatory activities that have the potential to impact the company’s Clinical Informatics strategy. This individual assists in the development and vetting of regulatory interpretations with an emphasis on practical application. In conjunction with other team members, this individual is responsible for maintaining compliance strategies and programs that must be established in response to ever-changing regulatory requirements. This individual also assists with the documentation, escalation, and resolution of potential compliance issues in collaboration with CSG leadership. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving to execute on the company’s Clinical Informatics regulatory strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, research, and track legislative and regulatory actions relevant to the company’s health IT policy agenda
  • Assist in developing public comments and action-planning for relevant federal rulemaking
  • Assist in facilitating and documenting interpretation decisions related to regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the development of compliance strategies in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • Function as subject matter specialist on assigned aspects of regulatory programs and compliance strategies
  • Perform data analysis of facility compliance with regulatory programs (including, but not limited to, the Promoting Interoperability Program)
  • Research and document potential compliance risks/issues and develop strategies to improve performance
  • Assess compliance risks and create appropriate communications
  • Develop business requirements for assigned aspects of related project work
  • Drive execution of assigned aspects of related project work
  • Provide excellent customer service to field operations
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with corporate departments, divisions, facility leaders, and vendors

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree Required
  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare and/or technology Preferred
  • Working knowledge of federal rulemaking processes and/or regulatory compliance experience Preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and aptitude to think critically and strategically
