CereCore is seeking an System Administrator to join our team Remotely and in Jupiter, FL.
 

Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and facilitates appropriate server/desktop technologies (including operating system maintenance, application maintenance, image archive, disaster recovery).
  • Develop a remediation plan for decommissioning non-standard EMR’s.
  • System administration responsibility to ensure backups are completed, servers are monitored and have current patching standards.
  • Windows, Linux, and networking skills required to understand the implications and impact of changes as it relates to the support of systems.
  • Works closely with facility personnel to coordinate the implementation and ongoing support.
  • Educates on compliance and identifies and resolves compliance issues. 
  • Validates compliance to standards.
  • Coordinates sharing of best practices and policies and procedures where applicable.
  • Interfaces directly with a wide variety of end users and technical counterparts..
  • Adheres to and supports security standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains and protects confidentiality with regard to all aspects of patient care.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server Platforms.
  • Experience with Linux / Unix Server and Desktop platforms.
  • Prior Windows Desktop Support experience.
  • Experience with Cisco VPN Appliances.
  • PACS and DICOM modalities experience a plus.
  • EHR/EMR experience a plus.
  • VMware including VDI.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft cert(s) highly desirable: Cisco, Microsoft, Linux, advanced training in network, server and security standards, equipment, and protocols.  EHR and Interface Implementation and Support.
  • Requires a strong knowledge of supported server, application, network, security systems, virus protection, and hardware configurations.
  • Understands the business implications of technology decisions.
  • Demonstrates a customer orientation; establishes and maintains customer relationships.
