JOB SUMMARY (Primary purpose of the position.)
 This position is a mid-level .NET Developer position who will report directly to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering at HealthTrust Supply Chain. 
 This engineer will work on a cross functional scrum team and perform full-stack development on software solutions that support our business partners.  This position will work with senior developers and architecture on design and build of applications.
 This engineer must be a highly motivated self-starter, an enthusiastic learner, and must be committed to delivering high quality solutions. 
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES  (The essential responsibilities and accountabilities of this position including interactions with other departments and outside vendors, if applicable, in PRIORITY order.) 
  • Construct and debug applications across all aspects of application development including but not limited to Front end graphical user interface design as well as Middle tier and Database layer with minimal guidance
  • Production application support including some operational tasks
  • Closely collaborates with team members to successfully execute development initiatives using Agile practices and principles
  • Shows competency in value based decision making and Agile principles across teams
  • Participate in continued learning of best practices involving agile methodologies, development methodologies, and technologies
·        Acts as a contributing member to the teams continuous integration and continuous delivery automation pipeline 

EXPERIENCE   (Minimum amount of specifically related experience which is required to perform the role at this level.

EDUCATION   (Minimum formal academic training which typically provides the knowledge and skills necessary for successful job performance. Note in Other if experience may be substituted.)
   High School Graduate/Equivalent

OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS  (Required licenses, certificates, specific skills, personal traits, e.g., RN, CPA, able to type 90 wpm, detail orientation.)
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience required
  • 3+ years of C# experience required
  • 3+ years Web Development experience preferred (MVC, JQuery, CSS, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
  • Google or equivalent cloud experience preferred
  • Angular 2 or above, or similar, experience preferred
  • Unit testing experience preferred
  • Understanding of Test Driven Design
  • Scrum and/or Agile team experience preferred
  • Event Driven architecture knowledge preferred
  • Application troubleshooting experience required
  • Willingness to learn our business domain required
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) required

  • What are must-have desired traits/experiences that the Manager would most like to see?
  • 1. Full stack developer, .net core/mvc/css/c#/sql/angular 2+ or similar
  • 2. Google or equivalent cloud experience (we will be using google cloud specifically)
  • 3. Understanding of unit testing and test driven design
  • Is this position remote/onsite? - mix, onsite minimum 2 days a week, can be more if requested.  Offsite for remaining days.
    • If on-site - is the position located in a patient-care facility?
      • Is there a dress code/uniform for this position? Business casual
      • Are there any requirements/health screening for this facility? None other than may need to sit for prolonged periods while developing/coding.
  • What is the planned work schedule for this contractor (work hours)? Standard business hours, can be flexible 7-4, 8-5, 9-6 etc (includes 1 hour for lunch break).  Should be reachable in our core business hours 8-4 and sometimes accessible if needed after/before hours (rare)
  • What is the interview process? I typically request cerecore do initial screening, then I do a video interview with myself and 1-3 other devs and the candidate.
