Job Description: As a Night Shift Supervisor for MEDITECH Expanse Education Support Team, you will oversee the operations and personnel during nighttime hours, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to protocols, and a safe working environment. Your responsibilities will include managing a team, resolving conflicts, coordinating with other departments, and reporting to higher management. Shifts are 12 hour nights 7pm-7am.

Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership
- Lead and supervise the night shift team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective communication, motivation, and teamwork.
- Operations Management
- Ensure all night shift operations are conducted efficiently and according to company standards and procedures.
- Monitor workflow to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks that may arise during the shift.
- Safety and Compliance
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Control
- Maintain quality standards by conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Monitor product quality and production processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Training and Development
- Provide training and development opportunities for night shift employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Liaise with other supervisors and departments to coordinate activities and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders to provide updates on night shift operations and performance.
- Performance Evaluation
- Conduct performance evaluations for night shift employees, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Recognize and reward exceptional performance to motivate employees and promote job satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, with a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle unexpected challenges and make timely decisions.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required.
