Senior Systems Integrations Engineer

Contract type: FTC – 12- 18 months

Location : Hybrid – London based

We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Integrations Engineer to provide technical and systems engineering capability to support both project and operational demand, onsite with our client.

Responsibilities:

  • Systems integration and build - Planning, implementing and controlling activities to synthesise system components to create operational systems, products or services
  • Application support - Delivering management, technical and administrative services to support and maintain live applications
  • Provision of high level and low-level technical designs and options
  • The development, testing, and support of clinical and non-clinical messaging and integration
  • Installation and support of integration application servers, related software products, and operating system customization where applicable
  • Support for and continuous improvement for operational systems, including on-call support, troubleshooting, assistance and advice in recovery from failures of supported systems
  • Service and performance maintenance, enhancements, and roadmap development
  • Technical and non-technical stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and requirements:

Required

  • Demonstrable technical experience in a similar position developing, upgrading, implementing and supporting integrations
  • Experience working in a similar industry or with similar healthcare applications
  • In-depth experience designing and implementing medium to large application integration solutions (EAI)
  • Experience with HL7 messages
  • Detail-oriented approach to reviewing documentation, process maps, and requirements.
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced agile team environment.
  • A self-starter with a passion for learning and development.

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in Electronic Health Record implementation projects in a business analyst, technological build, or operational capacity.
  • Front-facing stakeholder management skills and exposure to Project Agile environments.
  • Experience working with Services Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Knowledge of Databases (Databases (Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server)
  • Previous experience working with Operating Systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, VMware)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices related to electronic health record systems.
