CereCore is seeking a Sr. MEDITECH EHR Support Analyst in
at Methodist Hospital | Hill Country in Fredericksburg, Texas. This is expected to be a 10-month onsite contract to hire role.

SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Manager of Clinical Support Services. This high functioning team provides subject matter expertise for Clinical and Ancillary EHR documentation; collaborates with clinicians, physicians, advanced practice professionals, ancillary teams, leadership, and information technology teams to optimize the EHR for regulatory compliance and clinical standards of care; provide ongoing end user support for clinicians; facilitate gap analysis, workflow design and implementation of new and existing technology that impact clinicians and patient care.  


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Senior EHR Support analyst is a facility resource responsible for implementation and operational oversight of clinical applications for physicians, advanced practice professionals, nursing, and ancillary staff. 
  • This position is responsible for driving successful implementation and adoption of new technologies, support existing applications, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to keep the EHR up to date, participate and provide subject matter expertise for various hospital clinical improvement committees, and partner with other informatics teams for a streamlined distribution of work to maximize the support provided to all clinicians and ancillary staff.

  • Ability to develop and cultivate strong relationships with Facility senior leadership team, Facility department directors and managers, other division leaders, physicians, advanced practice professionals, nursing, ancillary staff, facility and ITG colleagues
  • Ability to manage and quickly execute upon our project portfolio while ensuring accountability across all service lines;
  • Ability to manage facility change management and ongoing operational processes around any new technology or EHR projects
  • Ability to leverage strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Ability to learn new systems and expand knowledge base to support operational demands;
  • Ability to collaborate with division and corporate peers to provide excellent operational support of existing systems;
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present data and information to various stakeholders;
  • Ability to create and deliver education in various formats to support new and existing applications;
  • Ability to employ various process improvement methods, such as RCA, DMAIC, Lean and Six Sigma
  • Ability to effectively drive change to ensure adoption of new technologies and processes;
  • Comprehensive understanding and recent application of nursing practice, process and workflow;
  • Understanding of accreditation guidelines, such as The Joint Commission and HIPAA;
  • Understanding of reporting tool(s) functionality and capabilities
  • Demonstrate advanced computer skills
  • Bachelor Degree preferred
