CereCore is seeking a Pharmacy Technical Change Lead to join our team in London, UK
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates implementation of departmental systems, including workflow analyses and establishment of benchmarks for determining successful completion of project(s).
- Undertakes process mapping of all current (‘as-is’) pharmacy related workflows ( including, not exhaustively: medicines procurement & logistics, clinical pharmacy and dispensing, process improvement, Omnicell medicines automation) workflows across the HCA U.K. group. This will involve meeting with colleagues at sites, as well as undertaking observation studies and documentation of ways of working, across all HCA facilities.
- Performs analysis of business and user needs and documents requirements for business solutions, including evaluation of current departmental procedures/processes and makes recommendations for reengineering to best use capabilities of business systems and enhance departmental productivity, performance, and accuracy.
- Gathers and analyses information from multiple sources to develop system and business requirements, data dictionaries, use/test cases, and decision trees.
- Collates data, engagement with scripting automation and outcome verification, to advance the development of pharmacy-centric and other clinical-centric dictionaries and data sets, embracing medicines optimisation and clinical decision support provider First Databank; all foundational to the building of the Electronic Health Record HCA U.K. is implementing
- Works collaboratively with HCA internal stakeholders (business as usual), to verify findings & ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose.
- Works with Programme Pharmacy workstream & other programme colleagues & workstreams to advance planning, designing and building of functionalities in order to deliver new workflows, ways of working and structure of the complex pharmacy services for patient and users, within the new EHR programme.
- Monitors daily activity, resolves problems, develops new methodologies, and interfaces with vendors in developing solutions to problems and submitting enhancement requests with subsequent follow up.
- Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses, and statements.
- Researches availability of other internal and external database sources to ensure most current and complete information is available to appropriate end users.
- Supports appropriate integration/interfaces with other internal and external systems.
- Participates in the testing and checking of pathways before transfer to the new live EHR system.
- Continually searches for innovative ideas, concepts, technology, etc., to improve ways of working.
- Anticipates and meets, or exceeds, internal and/or external customer expectations and requirements; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

- Acts as Pharmacy Systems advocate and liaison with Information Technology Teams as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum experience requirement of 3 years working in or with U.K. hospital pharmacy/ hospital/ retail pharmacy IT development projects/ projects with allied vendors & partners
- Project and change management skills
- In-depth knowledge and dexterity with statistical analysis, spreadsheet, and other software programs
- Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
