CereCore is seeking a System Engineer to join our team in Franklin, TN.

Responsibilities:  ​

• Complies with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintains organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.
• Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
• Supports MedHost Financial and Revenue Cycle application as needed.  Includes application security, application upgrades, configuration, automation, user interface and new builds.
• Performs break/fix troubleshooting, server and software updates and feature enhancements to relevant technology infrastructure; implements and troubleshoots complex environments.
• Clearly and concisely articulate problems and solutions for issues over the phone, via e-mail and in person.
• Conducts training of customers and company employees in both formal and informal environments
• Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time.
• Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

Position Requirements:

• 5+ Years senior level experience.
• Skills: iSeries, Storage, VIOS, BRMS, iRobot experience.
  • Understanding of IBM Power Technology and Power System Configurations
  • Hands-on experience in a corporate environment:
    • Supporting multiple versions of IBM i Operating System solutions (V7R2, and/or V7R3)
    • LPAR and virtualization experience
    • Hardware Management Console (HMC)
    • Basic network understanding surrounding TCP/IP and SNA
    • System recovery / Library refresh / Object restores
    • PTF,OS & Software upgrades
    • System troubleshooting
    • System security / Security setups / Audit needs
    • iRobot experience-IBM i Monitoring/Alerting Concepts (Monitoring of Messages, Jobs, System Performance/Stats, Job Queue, Output Queue, ect.)
    • Helpsystems Sequel experience.
